On 23 November 2006 a conference entitled "Protection is an enterprise! Industrial rights, patents and intellectual assets in handicraft enterprises and in small and medium concerns" was held at the headquarters of Confartigianato Udine (union of craftsmen of Udine: www.uaf.it), and this occasion became, among others, ideal to celebrate the signing of an agreement between Confartigianato Udine and GLP, which will enter into force from 1st December 2006.

esides offering a special economical treatment to the members of Confartigianato, this agreement aims at fostering and spurring a culture of protection of innovations and distinctive signs, so as to make a more convenient and favourable use of the resources offered by the global market.
