We would like to inform you that the European Patent Office has reduced the search fee by about 26%. The search fee now is of EURO 690.
Moreover, designation fees are to be paid only for maximum of 7 Countries of which signed the European Patent Convention (see our information about it).
Then, upon designation of 18 Countries, the designation fees are reduced from EURO 1368 to EURO 532.
That adjustment applies to European patent applications filed from July 1, 1999.
