From 2013 to 2020, taking on roles of increasing responsibility, he worked in the legal departments of leading multinational companies in various sectors, such as fashion, luxury, and home appliances. In these roles, he managed global portfolios of trademarks, designs, and patents, while providing strategic legal assistance on licensing, technology transfers and joint development agreements, and international regulations, including customs matters.
In 2020, Matteo took on the role of Intellectual Property Manager for an internationally renowned industrial group in the mechatronics and HVAC components sector, working as part of the Research and Development department.
